RE: Dodge 5.9 vs 6.7

I own 2 6.7's what emission problems? I have used my 4wd 5 times pulling my 13k TH up a dirt road in the rain and used it to pull four other trucks out of trouble at different times who did not have 4wd.

RE: FS25 at Kennedy Meadows

Heads up, the road to KM is two lane except for a 200yd stretch that is only one lane with a blind curve. Mountain on one side, burm with a 700ft drop on the other side.

RE: Which location?

Left Big Rock Candy Mountain last Friday, spent a week there. Both of the passes are closed and not expected to open until the fist week of July. Marysvale has better access to the trails right now to the eastern side of the loop. BRCM has access to the trails on the western side because of the pass closures.

RE: Dodge 1 ton DRW

Just got home from round trip to Marysvale Utah. Hand calculated 9.4 miles to the gal. The truck bed was full of fire wood and coolers of ice. 13k TH was full.

RE: Dually or not?

I don't think you can compare the 2500 with a 3500. On my dodge's the 2500 drive shaft is 11" round and the 3500 is 18 1/4" round. I'm there are other differences.

RE: Easter Rally 08'

I don't think there is a problem. The Rangers were enforcing limited use trails and rider violations. If they went after a group of private citizens for having a group camp, they would have to go after campgrounds and any other area people gather on the weekends. I'm going to Spangler at the site of the old rally for Easter weekend. I will be camping, riding, cooking and slugging cool ones. Any and everyone who wants to join me I'll be there.

RE: I may not go back to Dove Springs!

Hey Lanerd, sorry if you took offence to my post. Stating what is factual goes along way. I could not find anything in the article that pointed to DS, just to all of East Kern County. My family rides at DS or SH every weekend the weather is good. It appears that you have been around awhile, and as the population increases so does the need for space. If you don't like riding at DS then don't. SH is a open riding area and the people who ride that area are free to ride wherever they want. I hope you won't have issues with that. With that being said, you can stop by my camp anytime you want and have a cool beverage if you are inclined to do so.

RE: I may not go back to Dove Springs!

Lanerd, your statement about DS would have people think that this last weekend at DS was scary at the least. You said "over 50,000 people, 20-30 LEO'S, 1200 citations, thousands of bikes, quads and other off road vehicles. I have good idea where you pulled these numbers from, I hope it did not hurt to bad. In past posts you have shown that you are not fond of the TH people or their life style and that you consider DS and SH your own backyard. If you post in the TH forum stick with the known facts and stop with the BS rumors.
